Hey everybody, Sarah from the AmmoSquared team here. This video is to give you a quick overview of all the features available to you right inside your ammo account.
Once you're logged into AmmoSquared just go over to Ammo Accounts on the left. Then click View Details on one of your accounts to view. This opens up automatically to your Stored Ammo tab, but as you can see there are six different tabs that are part of your ammo account. I'm going to walk you through each of those.
Under the Stored Ammo tab you'll see the name of your account at the top which you can change anytime from the previous screen. You can see the total value of this account and the total rounds here. Then you can scroll down and see the list of your inventory, each caliber that you have, how many rounds of each, the total value of those rounds as well as the current price per round and the average price you've paid. The bars that are yellow show your available, ready to ship ammo and anything that might be gray means pending. Any purchased rounds first automatically go to Pending and in about 24-48 hours they hit your inventory, so that's a helpful thing to note.
Under each caliber listed, you will see these four buttons. The Move button only will be shown if you have multiple ammo accounts because this button allows you to move ammo between accounts, so that's a fun feature to take advantage of. The Exchange button allows you to exchange rounds at any time for other calibers, so that's super helpful to know. The Return button allows you to return rounds at any time from your account and you can return those automatically for credit or you can also reach out to our support team to request a refund for those rounds. The Buy More button allows you to do one time purchases to make a bulk purchase, buy when rounds are lower priced or just try something new out.
Let's go back up here and click on your AutoBuy tab, this is where you can manage all aspects of your scheduled AutoBuy. You'll first see a list of the calibers that you currently have, and then your allocation that you have set and chosen for your budget. You can remove these calibers at any time by clicking the red remove button. This removes them from your list so no more of your budget will be allocated towards that caliber. Any stored rounds you have will, of course, stay in your stored ammo.
You can add a new caliber anytime by clicking here and this opens up our list of available calibers to choose from. It's the same list that opens up if you click Calibers here or Add Ammo here. You can add anytime you'd like and then you would just adjust your allocation percentages, making sure your total is at 100% and then be sure to click Save.
One other neat tool to note is that you can toggle between the Allocation, which is your percentage, and the Quantity so you can see how many rounds that percentage gives you. So that 25% I had set for my 10mm is going to give me 50 rounds every time my AutoBuy runs at my chosen budget. That helps you navigate the allocations more easily.
Scroll on down and you can change your Budget and Frequency anytime by clicking here. You can change the date of your next AutoBuy by clicking here. You can manage your payment methods from here and then the other neat feature on this page is the Skip AutoBuy button. Clicking this will take you to some steps to walk you through choosing to skip your AutoBuy for the next 1, 2, or 3 months. That's a really nice thing to note and just keep in mind when/if you need to simply skip a month or put a pause on it. You can do that right from here instead of changing the amount of your AutoBuy or the date. Again any changes made click Save Changes and I always recommend refreshing the screen just to make sure everything's been saved correctly.
Let's go back up to the tabs and click on Shipping. This is where you'll find all of our shipping features that you could choose from. The default on a new account under the Shipping Trigger section is Store My Ammo, and that means that we will store everything that you've purchased until you manually log in and request shipment. We do have three different shipping triggers you can choose from, so you can select those then set the amount for that trigger.
Then another nice thing to note is once you have a trigger set, you can choose to AutoShip and turn that on which means when your trigger is hit, we will automatically ship out to you so you don't have to log in and request it.
If you've turned on the AutoShip, you also have the option to turn on the Roundup to full box automatically option. Because we only ship full boxes, when your shipping trigger is hit and we automatically ship to you, any loose rounds you have are just left in your inventory, but by toggling this on means that we will automatically fill those boxes with whatever rounds are needed, charge you for those and then include them in your shipment. That way nothing gets left behind in your inventory and all your ammo goes out to you.
Again, any changes made click Save Changes and refresh the screen just to be sure that those changes have been made.
You can manage your shipping address from here as well and then a couple other things to note back up top are these two areas. If you did set a shipping trigger this is a nice little visual that shows you how close you are to hitting that and then if you click here you can view your shipping history.
Let's go to the Activity tab. Here you will see a chronological list of all actions that have been performed including purchases, allocations, shipments, returns and exchanges.
If you click on the Pending tab, like I had mentioned earlier, this is where you can see if you have anything pending. When ammunition is purchased, it's not immediately added to your inventory, but within 24-48 hours it will be shown in your inventory under your Stored Ammo tab.
Then if you click over on Invoices, every purchase has an associated invoice with it so these will be listed under the invoice section in chronological order. You can click on each to have a more detailed view, so that's another helpful thing to note.
That's it for What's In Your Ammo Account. If you need any further help or information just check out our support page.
