How To Use Refer Friends Program

Hey everybody, Sarah from the AmmoSquared team here. In this video I'm going to show you how to use and take advantage of our Refer Friends program.

With this program you can earn a $25 credit applied to your account for every friend who signs up using your referral link and they'll also receive a $25 credit on their account. They do have to spend at least $20 in the first 30 days of signing up in order for you both to get those credits, otherwise the offer does expire.

Once you're signed into AmmoSquared you can click up on the Refer Friends link in this left navigation bar.

You'll see this page open up and prompt you to create a profile in order to use the program, so click the Create Profile button to start. This is a public profile in our AmmoSquared community and we do plan to add some fun features to this in the future, but for right now it's only used for our friend referral program.

You can manage your profile and make it private at any time, but in order to send friends your referral link your profile does have to be turned on and public. Your full name and the username that you choose are both displayed on this profile, but you can manage your privacy settings at any time and choose to only have your username displayed, if you'd like.

Because of this, it can be a good idea to choose a username that's somewhat recognizable to your friends and family. That way if you choose to keep your full name private, they'll at least still know who the invite and link came from so they feel safe using it.

You're just going to go ahead and choose a username, making sure that it's available and then you'll click Next.

From here you can choose to upload a profile picture if you would like or you can skip that. I'm going to go ahead and just click Skip. Then you'll just agree to create that.

You can choose to Manage Profile here if you want to go straight to those privacy choices that I mentioned.

Then for future reference, to get back to those profile settings you can just click on the profile icon up here and click on My Profile and you can manage your settings.

I am going to just go back to the Refer Friends in the left navigation.

Now you'll see that this feature is active. You can scroll down and you can read some of the instructions of how to use it and here is your unique referral link that you can copy and paste to send to friends via text or email and you can also share it through some social media platforms.

Over here you can see this tracker where you can view how many referral links have created AmmoSquared accounts. You can see how may have activated, which means those who have spent that $20 needed for you both to get that $25 credit. Then you can see down here a total of how much of those credits you've earned.

Credits are displayed back on the homepage. Under this section here is where you'll see any credits that you have in your account.
