Video transcript:
Hey everybody, it's Sarah from the AmmoSquared team here. I'm going to show you how to delete your Ammo Account in this video.
Your Ammo Account is a combination of multiple things. It includes your AutoBuy and allocations, your stored ammo and inventory, and also your pending inventory. So when you delete an ammo account you're actually canceling all aspects of that account, and it is permanent. So, though there are reasons why you may want to delete your ammo account there are other options available to you that may better suit your needs.
If you're just needing to take a break from your payments or pause your AutoBuy for awhile, but you think you might be back, you can simply change the budget to a lower amount or even to $0. That enables you to pause your account for any length of time. You can do that easily from the AutoBuy tab of your ammo account.
Another option you'll find in the AutoBuy tab of your account is a skip your AutoBuy button, and that enables you to automatically skip your AutoBuy payment for either 1, 2, or 3 months, then that way you don't have to mess with your budget or your allocation. Then once that period of time that you chose is over it will automatically go back to whatever you had set up. So those are good options to look into. I'll post video links to those walk throughs in the details of this video for you to take a look at.
If you do want to fully delete an ammo account, just log in to your AmmoSquared account and then go up to the Ammo Accounts in the left navigation bar. If you have multiple accounts they will be listed here. Next to each account you'll see this red trash can icon. Simply click on that to delete an account.
Then it's going to take you to this page to confirm that deletion. If you have any rounds stored in your inventory that you've purchased when you go to delete the account it will return those rounds for you minus a 5% restocking fee.
This account I didn't have anything in it so this will just delete it and take it off my page. But if you did have ammo stored it will show you those amounts here and the amount that's going to be refunded and returned. Those do go to credits on your account, but if you'd like to request a refund for those instead you can reach out to our customer support team.
You'll just need to click on this "Delete My Ammo Account Now" to confirm, and then there will be another confirmation again stating that it's permanent. Just click "Okay" on that and then you will see a confirmation that it was done. It will also tell you again here to reach out to our customer support team if you'd like to request a refund. Is states a little bit more information on if it's going to need to be a check or if we can credit the card on file.
I'll just go back to my account…and then you'll see that account is taken out of my list. That's it!
If you have any further questions about deleting your account or anything else just check out our support page for further information.
