Your "Ammo Account" is a combination of multiple things: your AutoBuy, Stored Ammo, and Pending Inventory. When you delete an Ammo Account you are canceling all aspects of that account.
Though there are reasons why you may actually need to delete an Ammo Account, there are other options available to you that may better suit your needs. You can change the budget, add calibers, or remove calibers in your ammo account instead of deleting it: I want to change my AutoBuy, how do I do that?
You can exchange calibers in your ammo account for other calibers: Can I exchange one caliber in my Stored Ammo for something different?
You can also simply "Skip" an auto-buy for up to 3 months: SKIP an Ammo AutoBuy
If you do need to delete an Ammo Account, however, the process is relatively simple. Follow these steps:
1. Log into your AmmoSquared Account
2. Select Ammo Accounts from the Main Menu
3. Click View Details
4. On the Ammo Account you would like to delete, click on the red trash can icon
5. On the next screen you will see a summary with the amount that will be refunded as a credit to your account. You must click the Delete My Ammo Account Now button to confirm the deletion
Once you click the "Cancel My Ammo Account Now" confirmation button on the bottom your ammo will immediately be sold and you will receive the account credits.
One final note: this action is permanent, so use it wisely.
If you would like to completely delete your AmmoSquared account and would like that money refunded to your card on file instead of credited to your account, we can do that if the purchase was within 90 days. If your purchase is older than 90 days, we can issue a physical check for the amount of your account credits, less a $5 check processing fee. Just contact customer service at connect@ammosquared.com and we can issue that check for you.
Please contact us with any payment related issue! DO NOT ISSUE A CHARGE BACK WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY AS A WAY TO RESOLVE YOUR PAYMENT ISSUE. This hurts our business reputation with our payment processor and drives up our cost - which means we need to raise prices. We will work with you but you have to contact us first.
