Hey everybody, Sarah from the AmmoSquared team here. I'm going to walk you through choosing and setting up a Shipping Trigger from the Shipping Tab of your ammo account. A shipping trigger is an automated notification that alerts you at a predetermined point when the ammo in your inventory is ready to ship. We currently have three options available: Round Count, Shippable Value and Time Frame.
Once you're logged into your AmmoSquared account you're going to go up to Ammo Accounts in the left navigation bar, then click on View Details of the account you want to view. Then you're going to go over here to the Shipping Tab.
Here you'll see the Shipping Trigger section and you're going to see that the default is automatically set to Store My Ammo on new accounts. What that means is we will just continue to store and stockpile your rounds for you in your inventory until you manually log in and request shipment for that ammo.
If you want to look at the different triggers that we offer, just click on the drop down here and you'll see those three that I mentioned, Round Count, Shippable Value and Time Frame.
Go ahead and choose which one you would like and then you'll see another drop down here and that will allow you to set the dollar amount, the round count, or the time frame depending on which trigger you chose. I'll go ahead and choose Shippable Value. Then you'll see it has me choose the value I want to set, so I'm going to go ahead and set it for $250.
Because we offer free shipping on orders with a $250 or more Shippable Value, we always suggest taking advantage of that, setting that trigger and then setting the amount for $250 or above. That way you always get free shipping and don't have to worry about that.
You'll also see that this AutoShip option appeared once I chose a shipping trigger, you can toggle that on if you want your shipment to ship automatically once your chosen trigger has been hit and then you don't have to log in and request that shipment. You can check out our AutoShip feature video to learn more. I'll put the link to the in the description (link to video below).
Then just be sure to scroll down and click on save changes to make sure you save your selection.
Now, you can see a cool visual and see how close you are to hitting that trigger that you just set, so that's a fun thing to just log in and check on every once in a while.
Once you have enough shippable ammo, meaning enough full boxes of ammo in your inventory to equal or exceed your chosen trigger threshold, you'll receive an email notification and can then log in to request that shipment, unless you chose that AutoShip option.
That's it for how to set up Shipping Triggers. If you need more help jut check out our support page for further info.
