Hey everybody, Sarah from the AmmoSquared team here. In this video, I'm going to go over having multiple Ammo Accounts,
Once you're logged into your AmmoSquared account, click on Ammo Accounts here in the top left navigation bar. Any accounts created will be listed here, as well as your Apparel & Swag account down below. You can see here I've created two accounts. Fun throwback for any of you fellow 90's kids.
The main reason to have multiple Ammo Accounts is if you want your AutoBuys to run on specific dates rather than running on specific days of the week. For example, if you want AutoBuys to run twice a month, but you need them to run on the 1st and the 15th instead of bi-weekly on every other, say Friday, then setting up two ammo counts is going to be beneficial for you.
It is really up to you how you'd like to set up and organize your accounts, but do just keep in mind that each Ammo Account you have does run all of the reoccurring AutoBuys you have set up, the shipping triggers you have set and any other settings you have 100% individually of the other accounts.
So, it's not really needed to just put separate calibers in each account or anything like that because you have so much freedom within one account to set it up exactly how would like.
If you do decide to open up more than one, just click on Start A New Ammo Account down below. That's going to walk you through the same process it did with your first account, choosing your calibers, your budget, your frequency, start date and your allocations.
Once you have multiple accounts here, there's a few features I'll point out for you so you know how to take advantage of them.
If you click on View Details on one of your accounts, under the Stored Ammo tab, you'll see the option to Move ammo between accounts. It will be visible under each caliber that you have listed. You cannot move partial rounds of the chosen caliber between accounts. You must move all available and pending rounds, so be sure to note that.
Click on Move and then you will see the opportunity move your ammo. So I'll go ahead and move all of my 223 ammo into another account. Just click on the account that you want it to go in. Then you can see this note down here stating to be sure to adjust your Ammo Account's allocation so the total is a 100% after the move. Double check your allocations in both accounts, making sure they're set how you would like since you moved ammo out of one account and into another. Also, double check and make sure that everything's set at 100% and how you want it to be, Save and then you're done.
The other feature with multiple Ammo Accounts is that when you request to ship, you will immediately be asked which accounts you want to ship from. So, I'll just show you that really quickly. You'll choose here if you want to ship from one account or if you want to ship from both. Click Next and then you'll follow the steps for shipping.
That's it for the multiple accounts walk through. If you need more help check out our support page for further information.
