If your AutoBuy payment fails, don’t worry, here’s what to do:
You’ll Get an Email Notification
Our system will automatically email you when a payment fails. In many cases, this is temporary and resolves itself.
Was It a Glitch, a Lack of Funds?
If you believe the failed payment was just a glitch or something else temporary, you don’t need to take any action. The system will retry the payment automatically.
Need to Update Your Card?
If your card has expired, been closed, or changed, you’ll need to update it:
- Log in to your account.
- Click the person icon in the top right corner.
- Select Account Settings.
- Scroll to the Payment Method section.
- Click Replace Card next to your current card to replace it.
Once updated, the system will continue trying the payment.
How Long Does the System Try?
- The system will keep the invoice open for 18 days.
- It will retry the payment automatically every few days, and you’ll receive an email whether it succeeds or fails.
You can let it run on that schedule, or contact our support team if you’d like help speeding things up.
Important Notes:
- Don’t push out your next AutoBuy date to stop the invoice, it won’t cancel the current open payment.
