A Shipping Trigger is an automated alert you set in your AmmoSquared account that lets you decide when your accumulated ammo should ship, without you having to constantly check your inventory.
Once a trigger threshold is reached, you’ll get an email asking you to confirm the shipment, so you stay in control of when orders go out.
There are three trigger types you can choose from:
1. Round Count
Trigger shipment when your stored rounds hit a specific total (e.g., 1,000 rounds).
2. Shippable Value
Trigger shipment when your ammo reaches a certain value (in dollars), such as $250, which also qualifies for free shipping.
3. Time Frame
Trigger shipment after a set period of time (e.g., every 6 months).
What happens next?
Once the trigger is met, you’ll receive an email to confirm your shipment. You can also enable AutoShip so that shipments happen automatically when the trigger is reached — no confirmation needed.
By Default: The Shipping Trigger is set to a $250 Shippable Value (Free Shipping!) to help you get the most value out of your shipment.
If you don’t want to set a trigger, you can change your account to Store My Ammo and request shipment manually whenever you’re ready.
Just navigate to the Shipping Tab inside your Ammo Plan.
1. Select Ammo Plans from the Main Menu
2. Click Edit Ammo Plan
3. Click Shipping (from drop-down on Mobile)
You can also set up AutoShip for any Shipping Trigger, How Do I Set Up AutoShip?
