Can I have more than one Ammo Plan?
Yes. AmmoSquared allows you to run multiple Ammo Plans under a single account.
Each plan operates independently of itself:
- Budget/Frequency
- Caliber selections
- Shipping schedule
- Purpose (training, defense, hunting, etc.)
Many members use multiple plans to keep their ammo strategy organized.
Why would I create more than one Ammo Plan?
Different firearms and goals may require different ammo strategies.
Running multiple plans lets you separate your ammo by purpose, such as:
Training Plan
- Focus on practice calibers
- Ships more frequently
- Keeps range ammo ready
Defense / Reserve Plan
- Premium defensive loads
- Stored until you need them
- Builds your long-term reserve
Seasonal / Hunting Plan
- Hunting calibers
- Ships before the season
- Keeps you ready without last-minute store runs
Each plan runs automatically in the background, so your ammo is always building.
Do I need a separate account for each plan?
No.
All your Ammo Plans live inside one AmmoSquared account and are managed from the same dashboard.
You can easily switch between plans and adjust settings anytime.
Does having multiple plans cost extra?
No.
There are no additional account fees for running multiple Ammo Plans.
Each plan simply has its own ammo budget, which you control.
You decide:
- The budget for each plan
- The calibers in each plan
- The shipping frequency
Can each plan ship at different times?
Yes.
Each Ammo Plan can have its own shipping trigger, so you can decide when each reserve ships.
For example, you could have:
- Training ammo ships monthly
- Hunting ammo ships before the season
- Defense ammo stays stored
You stay in full control.
How many Ammo Plans can I create?
Some members run 2–3 plans, but you can create more depending on how you organize your ammo.
Common setups include:
- Training + Defense
- Training + Defense + Hunting
- Range ammo + Long-term reserve
How do I add another Ammo Plan?
Adding a new plan only takes a minute.
- Log in to your AmmoSquared account
- Click “Start a New Ammo Plan” below your existing plan
- Choose your calibers and monthly budget
- Set shipping preferences
Your new plan will immediately begin building.
Pro Tip: The Three-Plan Method
Many experienced members organize their ammo using three plans:
- Training Plan – Practice ammo for the range
- Defense Plan – Premium loads stored for emergencies
- Seasonal Plan – Hunting ammo timed to your season
This keeps your ammo organized and ensures every firearm has the rounds it needs.
